Goyard
Pierre-François Martin founded the “House of Martin” in Paris in 1792. He worked closely with another man who would hire an apprentice named Francois Goyard. In 1853 Goyard took over the company and renamed it to “House of Goyard”. His son renamed the company again to “E Goyard”, his vision was to make the company international. In 1892 Edmond created the brand's signature Goyardine canvas. Goyard prides itself on quality. All personalised items are hand painted in house by an atelier. The brand's lack of marketing is meant to show how elite the products are. Goyard products dont change from season to season. They are meant to be timeless and last longer than any trend or fad.
